By using our site or buying a film from us, you agree to these terms. We've tried to write them in plain English. The short version: we'll create a beautiful tribute for you and stand behind it; you'll provide accurate information and photos you have the right to use; if something goes wrong, we'll work it out fairly.
1. Who we are
Meadowhush is a memorial-film studio. Purchases are sold and processed by our third-party Merchant of Record, which is the seller of record for your order.
Throughout these Terms, "we," "us," and "our" refer to Meadowhush as the memorial-film studio providing the service. "You" and "your" refer to anyone using our website or purchasing our services.
2. What we provide
Meadowhush creates custom memorial films for deceased pets. You provide photos and a few details about your pet; our team shapes a personalized cinematic tribute, which we deliver as a downloadable video file within the timeframe of your selected package.
Our services include three packages (Memento, Tribute, Signature) and one optional add-on (Express delivery, +$9). The tribute letter is included in the Signature package only — it is not sold separately. See our pricing page for current details.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order.
4. Your account and order information
When you place an order, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information, including:
- A valid email address where we can deliver your film
- Payment through our Merchant of Record at checkout
- Photos you have the legal right to use (see Section 5)
- Any details about your pet that you wish to include
You're responsible for keeping your contact information current so we can deliver your film.
5. Your photos and intellectual property
Your rights to the photos you submit
By uploading photos to us, you confirm that you own the rights to those photos or have permission to use them. Specifically, you confirm that:
- You took the photos yourself, or have permission from the photographer
- The photos do not contain copyrighted material owned by third parties
- You have the right to share these photos with us for the purpose of creating your film
If a third party makes a claim against us regarding your photos, you agree to defend and indemnify us.
License you grant us
By uploading photos, you grant us a limited license to use, modify, restore, enhance, and incorporate those photos into the film we create for you. This license exists solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order. We do not use your photos for any other purpose, including marketing or training data.
Your rights to the finished film
Once we deliver your film and payment is complete, you receive personal-use rights to the film. You may:
- Watch, download, and store it for personal use
- Share it with family and friends
- Post it to your personal social media accounts
- Use it in a private memorial service
You may not:
- Resell the film or claim authorship of it
- Use the film in any commercial product or paid promotion
- Modify the film and present the modified version as our work
We retain ownership of our underlying creative process, music, animation techniques, and proprietary methods. We may showcase finished films as portfolio examples, with your name and identifying information removed, unless you specifically request that we don't.

6. Pricing and payment
Prices are listed in US dollars. Your purchase is sold and processed by our third-party payment provider, which acts as the Merchant of Record and handles payment, billing, and applicable taxes as the seller of record.
All sales are subject to the Refund Policy at /refund-policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.
7. Delivery and timing
We deliver completed films via email to the address you provide at checkout, within the delivery window of your selected package:
- Memento and Tribute: within 48 hours of order placement
- Signature: within 24 hours (priority delivery included)
- Express delivery add-on (+$9): within 24 hours of order placement on Memento and Tribute orders
Delivery times are best efforts. In rare cases, delivery may be slightly delayed due to high volume, technical issues, or unusual photo requirements. Significant delays are eligible for the satisfaction guarantee.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to use our services for any unlawful or harmful purpose. You agree not to:
- Submit photos depicting graphic violence, abuse, or content involving minors in inappropriate contexts
- Submit content designed to harass, defame, or harm others
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or replicate our service
- Use our service for any purpose other than memorializing a deceased pet you love
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order that violates these terms, with a full refund.
9. Disclaimers
While we work hard to create films that move our customers, we make no guarantee about your specific emotional response. Our website and services are provided "as is" and "as available."
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meadowhush's total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the order in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Meadowhush from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any law or third-party right
- Photos or content you submitted to us
12. Governing law and disputes
Your purchase is sold and processed by our third-party Merchant of Record, and the payment, billing, tax, and transaction terms of that purchase are governed by our Merchant of Record's terms of service as the seller of record. These Terms govern your use of the Meadowhush website and the memorial-film service we provide. Before raising any formal dispute, you agree to contact us first at hello@meadowhush.com and attempt informal resolution; most concerns are resolved quickly and directly.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent version. Existing orders remain governed by the Terms in effect at time of purchase.
14. Severability
If any provision is found unenforceable, remaining provisions remain in effect.
